Rosemary grows on arid and rocky lands. It is a plant that needs sun and a mild climate. These are all the conditions that the Drôme department offers. The Rosemary from our infusion grows as close to you as possible, right where the Vercors regional park begins.

Mint, one of the most popular herbal plant, gives this recipe a touch of freshness. It also grows on the land of Alixan, at the foothills of the Vercors valley. Used for centuries, this aromatic plant with refreshing flavors has an interesting history. For some peoples, like the Hebrews, the Mint had an almost magic dimension. It is also said that Roman women crushed Mint to make a kind of paste, that they mixed with Honey and chewed all day long, to have a nice breath.
The Mint of your infusion will also bring you freshness and intensity. The most important thing is to know that it grows in ideal conditions to its development, on a healthy land that its farmers love growing.

The Blackcurrant tree is a small bushy shrub, which can measure 1 to 2 meters high. Blackcurrant leaves are often used in herbal medicine. Mainly known for their benefits, they also have the advantage of bringing a soft and round note to infusions. If the very gourmet fruit pleasantly tickles our taste buds, the leaves present a subtle, more shy taste.
The Blackcurrant leaves of your tea were carefully harvested while they were still fresh and green. It is at barely a few kilometers from Valence that the Blackcurrant tress of Maryline and Philippe had the chance to take the sun from Drôme, to grow on well-filtering soil, a characteristic quite necessary for their good development.
France has so much to offer us. Its remarkable lands allow us to grow exceptional products whose culture respects the plant and the environment. Herboriste du Velay by Pagès takes part in this type of production to offer you a range of healthy products, as close as possible to your home! This is the case with our Rosemary, Mint and Balckcurrant infusion, the true trio of Drôme. The three plants in this recipe all grow in the heart of the Drôme department. This region with sunny lands, surrounded by a magnificent and special landscape, offers Rosemary, Mint and Blackcurrant ideal living conditions. These plants need sun and light, well-drained soil. They all have specific botanical characteristics offered by the land of Drôme but also thegrowers who cultivates them.
The infusion Rosemary Mint Blackcurrant of Herboriste du Velay by Pagès was produced and harvested on the land of Maryline and Philippe, a couple living not far from Valence (26). It is at the gates of the Vercors regional natural park that these two farmers cultivate no less than 15 species. With them, it is a real botanical garden, we take full view!
The three plants present in your infusion were harvested in May, June and July (each plant is harvested on a specific period). It was by mechanical harvest that the two farmers carried out the operation. Once gathered, the plants are placed in the dark for about 3 days. This is the drying process, it takes place on site. The two farmers have their own dryers. Dried between 30°C and 40°C, the plants of our infusion were then transported to our premises for the production of the infusion. We went to their home for a day to discover their beautiful farm, their great attachment to this meticulous work and their knowledge of aromatic plants.
Planted at the foot of the Vercors regional natural park, in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, the plants that make up our Rosemary, Mint and Blackcurrant herbal tea grow on ideally sunny land (around 80% of sunshine per year). This territory cultivated by our two farmers is located in the town of Alixan, a few steps from Valence in the Drôme. It is thanks to this clay and well filtering soil that our infusion was able to see the light of day. The significant heat experienced by the Drôme is ideal for the proper cultivation of aromatic plants and plants with essential oils.
Land of excellence, the Drôme is home to more than 50 species of plants cultivated in organic farming. Alixan is a pretty town northeast of Valence. It is somewhat the circular capital of the small villages of the department. If its rich history makes it a very pleasant tourist place, the cultivated land available to the city is also very conducive to the development of infusion plants. Its proximity to the Vercors regional natural park, known for its rich nature and abundant biodiversity, makes this small town all the more interesting and authentic.
